Halloween

Halloween is about scary things. People put on costumes and like to go trick-or-treating. It's a great time to get lots of candy and it's always good fun!

Halloween in one minute:

Halloween is a very old tradition from the Celts. A long long time ago, the Celts celebrated the end of the harvest on October 31st and believed the dead could come and visit the living. So they lit lanterns and wore costumes to scare them off. Today we make jack-o'lanterns with pumpkins and wear all sorts of costumes.

THIS IS HALLOWEEN:  THE SONG

Do you want to sing too? Here are the lyrics! Sing with the Simpsons!

This is Halloween

Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see
This, our town of Halloween
This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright
It's our town, everybody scream
In this town of Halloween
I am the one hiding under your bed
Teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red
I am the one hiding under yours stairs
Fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair

Chorus:

This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!

In this town we call home
Everyone hail to the pumpkin song

Do you like ghosts?
